      1. sure I understand that. What I am questioning is the 12-48 hr rule. I thought the new guidelines (class 2b) to use DCCV, without prior transesophageal echo to rule out thrombus, in patients with CHA2DS2-VASc score 0-1 and symptom duration <12 hours. After 12 hours but before 48 hours are you cardioverting CHA2DS2-VASc score 0-1 without imaging?
