Activity Description
JournalFeed Point of Care Ultrasound is a specialized series focused on point-of-care ultrasound applications in Emergency Medicine and other specialties. Through self-learning activities, this series reviews current literature and emerging evidence supporting bedside ultrasound in the acute care setting. The materials covered include new research in diagnostic accuracy, novel scanning protocols, and updated guidelines from peer-reviewed emergency ultrasound literature and major medical societies. Content spans across critical POCUS applications including cardiac, lung, abdominal, vascular, and procedural ultrasound. While this activity does not provide clinical protocols or formal recommendations, it helps emergency physicians and other acute care providers stay current with advances in emergency ultrasonography that may enhance diagnostic capabilities and procedural guidance at the bedside.
