JournalFeed reviews updates in research and guidelines in the peer-reviewed Emergency Medicine literature. This self-learning activity was not designed to provide clinical recommendations or guidance, but to help clinicians to stay up to date with newly published literature for their own education. This activity also periodically covers studies that consider differences in care, treatment, and outcomes among certain patient populations, especially those of minority race or ethnicity.

Objectives – After attending this program the learner should be able to:
- Analyze and synthesize key findings from the top emergency medicine articles each month to maintain current knowledge of the latest research and best practices.
- Apply insights and knowledge gained from recent emergency medicine literature to improve clinical decision-making and patient care practices.
- Evaluate the relevance and applicability of new information in emergency medicine to specific clinical practices, adapting patient care approaches based on this continuous assessment.
- Recognize differences in comorbidities, ethnicity, and gender and how it applies to inequities in medical care.
